To start using the API and run the examples in this section, you need the following items:
- MyRackspace account number, username, and password
- Command-line tool or browser client for communicating with the API service
- You also need the service access endpoint for the load balancer that you want to view and manage.
MyRackspace accounts allow you to self-manage data and resources in your Rackspace hosted environment. If you don’t know your account credentials, contact your account administrator, or Rackspace Support.
