Prerequisites#

The trusty-backports repository is required to install Object Storage. To enable it, add the repository's details in /etc/apt/sources.list and then update the package list, as follows:

$ /opt/rpc-openstack/openstack-ansible/playbooks

# ansible hosts -m shell -a "sed -r -i 's/^# (deb.*trusty-backports.*)$/1/' /etc/apt/sources.list; apt-get update"

For additional prerequisites, see system requirements.
