Rackspace Private Cloud Powered By Openstack (RPCO) uses the Ansible IT automation framework to create an OpenStack cluster on the Ubuntu operating system. OpenStack components are installed into Linux Containers (LXC) for isolation, scalability, and ease of maintenance.
Rackspace Private Cloud Powered By Openstack (RPCO) installs and manages OpenStack with the following services:
- Compute (nova)
- Object Storage (swift)
- Block Storage (cinder)
- Networking (neutron)
- Dashboard (horizon)
- Identity (keystone)
- Image service (glance)
- Orchestration (heat)
